One of my favorite spots in Seaside. Their sushi has always been solid, and now we get to enjoy it in a completely renovated space that is well lit and equipped with elegant furniture. The service here is excellent, and the sushi chefs certainly know the craft. The lunch plates are huge and filled with delicious items such as chicken teriyaki, tempura, and gyoza. Don't miss this sushi spot during your Monterey visit!
Tried this place a few weeks ago. Pretty good. Service was good. Nothing specially about it but it was decent. Only thing was off IMO was the Hawaiian poke. I was expecting it to be just tuna squares and that's it like in Hawaii. I even asked the server they said yeah but it was a salad. Came with a bunch of salad and seaweed. I would give it five stars but it was nothing special. Just decent sushi. Sorry I have high expectations on sushi.

There's not much affordable sushi spots up here in the north like Southern California. But this place fits and they offer great customer service.
The food was really good - my favorite was the all protein roll with soy wrap. We had 3 rolls and a jalapeño bomb. The service was decent. You can tell that it is short staffed but they did their best.
We wanted to stop in and try and some rolls for a quick meal. Our server greeted us right away and the food came out quickly. I asked about what the upcharge for escolar might be on a roll and was told "shouldnt be more than $4", so decided not to even check.
We really liked the Js Gone Wild roll the best! It had a great combination of flavors with the smoked salmon, torched scallop and sauces. Totally worth the price. The Big Sur #2, which comes with cucumber instead of rice, was pretty good but lacked flavor and for $18.50 was only 5 pieces. We enjoyed the Eternal Sunshine too and had was flavorful. I would recommend the Js Gone Wild and Eternal Sunshine rolls.
